Beaning is the new TikTok trend that involves throwing a stone-cold tin of baked beans over someone's front door or car. The trend was first launched when a group of pranksters uploaded several videos on TikTok with the hashtag #beanbandits and raked up to 1.5 million views.
The Police have managed to catch the ‘bean bandits’ on CCTV Footage after they went on a rampage in Lancashire and covered several doorsteps and cars in baked beans.
The Police said: "Local officers have received reports of incidents in Wonersh where beans and other food has been poured onto resident's front doors and cars overnight.
"The victims are understandably distressed by this unacceptable behaviour.
"If something similar has happened to you or you know anything that could assist with identifying persons responsible please let us know."

Shopkeepers have been urged to refrain from selling baked beans to kids whilst this trend blows over, which may lead to an increase in teenagers purchasing dinosaur spaghetti and alphabetical soup.
The TikTok videos have left some viewers in hysterics, whilst others think the demographic is aimed at those who are still in pull-up nappies.
One viewer said: ‘not rly funny bro, ur putting beans on a doorstep some poor kid is gunna have to clean that, like cmon now.”
Another TikTok user said: “How is this funny, it’s such a waste.”
Baked beans are a staple feature in most cupboards in British households, which makes them accessible to young people. But kids around the world have been raiding their parents' cupboards for kidney beans, black-eyed beans and anything similar just to take part in the trend.

Alongside using CCTV to ensure your safety from the Bean Bandits, many parents with teenagers have been urged to treat baked beans as the latest contraband and hide the tins with this year’s Christmas presents.
In short, we live in a society where a shopkeeper could refuse to sell you baked beans if you look under the age of 17.
